Who I am

I am a certified New York State Dietician/Nutritionist who has worked in both clinical and outpatient settings. I started my career in 1996 and have worked with hundreds of patients, helping them to achieve their healthcare goals.

Our mission

My mission is to assist my patients to achieve the best possible health outcomes by providing sound, personalized nutrition advice that meets their needs. I provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients to explore and achieve their goals to attain optimal health.

Our vision

We live in a world where we are bombarded with food choices. It is possible to make good, healthful decisions related to what we put in our bodies. Knowing what we can wisely consume can lead to a lifetime of better health. Our vision is that good decisions can be made that do not overly restrict our diet in ways that are unsustainable.

Our history

Peak Nutrition began as a goal focused nutrition counseling service in 2004 when Christina Notaro-Barton and Cathy Fink began seeing patients in an office in New Paltz, NY. That business grew and changed locations twice to better accommodate patients. When CoVid-19 struck, all counseling was moved into video chat in order to protect everyone from the impacts of that disease. Currently, all counseling is done via Zoom.
